As
a designer you always seem to have a number of projects on the go and I
have to admit that I am one of those and here is something else I have
been working on.
This is currently some fan art that I am working on
but you never know what could grow out of this, maybe even a possible
collaboration.
The original design is a pin that was done by
Howard
Tayler of
Schlock Mercenary and I loved it
so I decided to see what it would look like as a cross-stitch design.
This piece was started on March 26, 2015 and I completed stitching this
piece of April 14, 2015.
My
husband is a big Schlock Mercenary fan and with this being the main
character I figured it would be something that we can have hanging in
our home.
2017 update:
I no longer have the
original that I stitched as it has now been sent down the states so
that Howard Tayler can see it. I had the opportunity
to
show it
to Brandon Sanderson and when he showed an interest in the piece I
passed it onto him with the condition that he show it to Howard.
I
am now going to stitch another copy of this piece so that we can have
one but just knowing that Howard is going to see the piece makes me
very happy and if Howard
would like one for himself I will gladly stitch one for him.
