The
butterfly means a lot to me as it shows a coming out or an emerging.
For so long I was one of those individuals that felt
that my
career was the most important thing and that required being part of a
big corporation. A few years ago I came to realize that being
part of a big corporation wasn't what was important to me, there was
more to me than that. I
enjoy working on a different schedule and that is when I started
emergying as myself.
My name is Darlene Llewellyn-Konecny and the process of becoming
myself has taken a
lot of different curves in the road but now I am seeing who I want to
be and what is important to me. DLK Life came about as I looked at my
life and decided it was time that I showed what I do all in
one
place.
My writing is a huge part
of what keeps me going. Sure it can be for work as that is
part
of my job but it can also be for the love of writing which is part of
my personal time. Writing to me is something that I love
doing
and I hope that it will be something that I can continue to enjoy for a
long time.
Designs
cross-stitch patterns are a new part of what I am doing. Once
again the cross-stitch patterns will be found under the DLK Life
umbrella.
What DLK Life is:
DLK Life is a means to show
people who I am and what I do.DLK Life is me and just me. Some
of my craft designs will be done in colloration with an artist but all
the writing will be me.The website is also going to be maintained by me
so that I can have total control of what is actually showing up here.
Who I really am:
I am a technical
writer,
instructor, co-owner of a business and crafter. I have kept my craft
side (making crafts for just the enjoyment) of my life separate and it
can be found under the heading
of craftkitten below.

I have my opinions on life
and have
decided that I wanted to share them so have done so through my DLK life
blog. My opinions do not reflect the opinions
of the company it may be a little hard sometimes as there are only
two of us in the company.
